The Bronberg Observatory is owned by Berto Monard and is situated 35 km ESE of Pretoria, South Africa. The Observatory is 90 meters away from the house of Berto and his wife Brigitte, on a small holding that forms part of a wildlife conservancy.

Observations done at the Bronberg Observatory include the search for Supernovae, the monitoring and photometry of Cataclysmic Variables and microlenses as participant in the CBA and uFUN networks, and the follow up of specific objects directly in response to alerts or requests from professional astronomers.
