Ryan Mc Farlane, now a Johannesburg-based pianist, was born in 1973, near Johannesburg. He discovered his passion in life when he started playing the piano at the age of eight. Soon after that, he began attending formal lessons, and received his first piano at the age of 10. Since then, he has entertained many audiences at weddings, corporate functions and a wide variety of other events throughout South Africa. Ryan has also played at many hotels and restaurants.
